Why was my telehealth consultation request declined?

There are a number of reasons why your telehealth consultation request may have been declined. Some of these include:

  • The medicine being requested is a controlled, addictive, Schedule 8 or Schedule 4D medication.

  • Due to some of your responses on our digital consultation questionnaire.

  • A payment error.

  • You do not have a valid Medicare or IHI number.

  • Your request has been reviewed by one of our doctors and has been deemed as inappropriate for telehealth (requires a face-to-face consultation).

  • An incorrect consultation type was booked. For example, a General Consultation booking was made, for Weight Loss medication.

  • Based on your history with us.
