Yes, a doctor can issue you with a Medical Certificate if deemed suitable.
Once approved, you can access and download your Medical Certificate from the History section, at the top right side, of your InstantScripts account.
We also email a link with your approved Medical Certificate to the email address linked to your InstantScripts account.
Single-day Medical Certificates:
Our online Medical Certificates are issued for the same day that it is requested on and can only be issued for a single day. The date of the certificate cannot be edited.
You must be 18 years or older to be able to request an online, single/same day Medical Certificate.
Same day medical certificates can be requested for Work, School, University, or Carer's.
Online Medical Certificates are not customisable. The certificate will not include any additional information relating to specific ailments.
You are welcome to book a Telehealth Consultation with one of our doctors to discuss the possibility of a customised certificate. The final decision will be at the discretion of the consulting doctor.
Multi-day Medical Certificates:
For multi-day medical certificates, you will need to book a short consultation with one of our Australian-registered doctors.
Our doctors are unable to backdate a Medical Certificate. The issue date on the certificate will be the date of the consultation.
The duration of the medical certificate is up to the discretion of the consulting doctor.
